We have represented clients under investigation for alleged price-fixing or other cartel activities in numerous industries and allegations of misleading or unfair advertising.

In competition law, as in other areas of regulatory and administrative practice, we have been occasionally retained by the Commissioner of Competition on difficult questions, including controversies concerning the use of production orders under s. 11 of the Competition Act.

Increasingly, allegations of anti-competitive behaviour attract class action litigation. As part of our broader class action practice, our lawyers have also acted for clients who face allegations of price-fixing and other anti-competitive conduct in civil class actions.
